Mass Media and Social Revolution

The mass media today is not so limited, there is no national boundaries as well as social and cultural boundaries, all joined with the social communication. fundamental difference is certainly different from previous eras, when the media was not big like it is today.

Social communication or social interaction is constructed by social media would require a certain supervision so that there is no utilization of social interaction that can lead to a complicated problem of the absence of strict control. The problems or social problems that arise can take the form of a social movement that supporters much or it could be in a social revolution, this is due to the intense communication via a mass media.

That concern may be said to be an excessive concern that there may be no basis that can be accounted for. However, if we look at the various events in recent years many media that exposes an event that occurs in a country, which at first is never revealed. Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Syria became a country that has always been associated with a social revolution. domino effect could arise because of the mass media that revealed a problem in a country or region.

People who initially have access to or get information on a limited basis now with easy to obtain a news or opinion that was built by the mass media. people are now easy to communicate and make the perception, equating to a goal, telling of things that may have a distaste or disagreement with a policy or an action taken by people who are weak and those who have a strength.

In the interaction of people will easily organize an activity or movement to change the situation for those who do not or are not fit to be held a change. A wave of large mass will cause social unrest that is difficult to be controlled so as to trigger a social revolution.
